Retirement gifts tend to be plaques. This is the building itself: the sanctuary where they preached, created from your photo, with the years of their ministry under it and a verse if you wish. It hangs in the church office until the last Sunday, then it goes home with them.
What should the words say?
The form takes one line of words, the year the church was established if you like, and one of the verses we offer. Many congregations put the pastor's name and years of service on the line, for example 'Pastor Tom Reed, 1986 to 2026'.
