Terms of Service
Draft, pending review by our attorney. It describes how we actually operate today, and we will update this page when the review is complete.
These terms describe how we actually operate: how an order is taken, what proof approval means, what the Kept Promise covers, and what rights you give us in a photo you upload.
Ordering and payment
Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we take payment and open your order. Payment is processed by Stripe on its own secure form; card details never reach our servers. Prices are shown in the currency of the market you have selected. Sales tax, where we are registered to collect it, is calculated at checkout against your delivery address. If a price or a product detail is shown in error we will contact you before producing anything, and you may cancel for a full refund.
Proof approval, and what your approval means
Personalized pieces go through a proof. Your artwork proof reaches you within 48 hours of ordering, and production begins only after you approve it. Two revision rounds are included on every personalized piece, and revisions are unlimited on memorial pieces. When you approve a proof you are confirming that you have checked every name, every date and every word of the verse, and that the artwork is what you want printed. Until you approve, you may cancel for a full refund. After approval the piece is produced for you alone and cannot be canceled, although the Kept Promise below still applies.
The Kept Promise
If your piece arrives damaged, or does not match the proof you approved, or does not feel like it belongs on the wall, tell us within 60 days of delivery. We reprint it or refund it, and personalized pieces are included. Usually a photo and a short note is enough; we will ask you to return a piece only where we genuinely need to see it, and at our cost. The promise does not cover damage caused by hanging or handling, by years of direct sunlight, or by shipping a piece onward yourself.
Your photos and the rights you grant
When you upload a photo you confirm that you took it or that you have permission from the person who did, and that you have permission from anyone recognizable in it. You keep ownership of your photo. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, reproduce and adapt it only in order to produce your order, your proofs and any reprint of that order. That license carries no marketing use: we display a customer photo only where you have separately given permission, such as the consent box on the Share Their Wall page, and we remove it whenever you ask. If we believe a photo was uploaded without the rights to use it, we may decline the order and refund it.
Scripture and artwork
We set scripture from the King James Version and the World English Bible and we quote it exactly, including its reference. We will not alter scripture to fit a layout. Artwork is composed digitally by a named artist working from your photo and your words. We do not describe our work as hand-painted or hand-lettered, because it is not.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping is priced at checkout and every order ships tracked. Printing and finishing take 2 to 5 business days after you approve your proof, and delivery takes 3 to 7 business days more. Delivery estimates are estimates: a carrier delay is outside our control, although if a parcel goes missing we will chase it and, if it is lost, remake and reship it. Risk passes to you on delivery. For delivery before December 25, order personalized pieces by December 10, 2026 and designed pieces by December 17, 2026.
Acceptable use and our content
Please do not ask us to produce content that is unlawful, that infringes someone else's rights, or that is designed to abuse or demean a person. The text, images and artwork on this site are ours or used with permission and may not be copied for commercial use.
Liability
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the laws of [state to be confirmed], United States, and the courts of [venue to be confirmed] have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms, and the version in force is the one published here on the day your order is placed.
